Waltz Time — Entry 16: A Glance Becomes More

Waltz Time - Entry 16:  A Glance Becomes More

“Sometimes paradise is just the place where you finally let your guard down.”

As I approached the door, he turned toward me and opened it, no words needed. The air between us felt charged, as if the universe had been quietly steering us to
this moment. When he took my hand and drew me inside, everything else disappeared.

He brushed his lips against my neck, his touch both gentle and certain, tracing the outline of a connection we had both tried to resist. My heart pounded in rhythm with his breath as his hands found their way to my waist, pulling me closer until I could feel his heartbeat against mine.

Time seemed to slow, as though the world outside the door had faded to a quiet hum. His eyes met mine, steady, searching, and I knew there was no turning back. The room held only one light, soft and golden, casting shadows that seemed to move with us.

He reached for the first button of my blouse, his fingers trembling just slightly, as though he knew this moment would change everything. I met his gaze, steady and unguarded, and slipped my hands beneath the edge of his T-shirt. The fabric lifted easily, and when it fell away, there was nothing between us but breath and skin.

'You are so beautiful,' he said in a whisper.

The room seemed to close in, wrapped in warmth and quiet. Every movement, every brush of his hand, felt deliberate, an unspoken language that said what words never could. His touch was both discovery and recognition, as if we had been waiting lifetimes to find each other again.

He pulled me closer, and the world fell away. The faint hum of the air conditioner, the dim light spilling across the floor, even the sound of our breathing, all became part of a single rhythm.

When he whispered my name, it was a promise, not a question. The sound of it lingered between us, soft and low, like the note of a song that refuses to fade.

I felt his breath against my cheek as his fingers traced the curve of my shoulder, the slow slide of fabric falling away until the air itself seemed to tremble. Every heartbeat, every shallow breath felt amplified, the pulse of something we’d both been holding back for far too long.

His skin was warm beneath my hands, the rise and fall of his chest steady, certain. He drew me closer until there was no space left between us—only heat and motion and the quiet thunder of want.

The bed was only a few steps away, but it felt like crossing a threshold neither of us could return from. We moved together, guided by instinct, by everything unspoken. The world outside had dissolved; there was only this, the weight of his touch, the taste of his breath, the feeling of finally being seen.

When we reached the bed, he paused for just a moment, his forehead resting against mine. The silence was full of everything we hadn’t said.

And then, without another word, we fell into the moment we both knew was inevitable. We felt our inhibitions leave us as we melted our bodies together.
